Facebook Live Stream Settings

Note: We recommend that all clients who wish to automate their Facebook experience use our integrated Facebook output which is available in this tutorial: How to add a Facebook output.

Sardius Stream allows you to set up an RTMP output to Facebook using your Facebook stream key and stream URL. In order to do this you will need to find your organization's Facebook Live stream settings.

Locating the Stream Settings

1. Navigate to your organization's Facebook organization page that you want to live stream from.

Once you are on the page you will click the “More” button and then “Videos”

2. From the Videos page click the “Visit Creator Studio” button

3. Once in the creator studio you will need to find the “Go Live” button. We have seen creator studio look a few different ways before depending on how your organization has it set up. Here are two examples of where to find the “Go Live” button depending on your Facebook setup

6. From this area you can reset the stream key to get a new one if the current setup stream key doesn't seem to be working.

7. If you have already scheduled your broadcast and you want to review the settings on the “Go Live” page you will see your scheduled broadcast towards the bottom of the page. To make changes to the scheduled broadcast click the “Set up live video” button on it.

8. If you ever end up updating the stream key please let your Sardius account manager know so we can make sure the Sardius Control Panel is set up with your correct stream key.
