The Sardius Control Panel allows a wide range of customization which allows each of our clients to truly make each event feel as unique as the organization hosting it.
Helpful Tip: Check to ensure that you are on the correct Channel for your event by confirming the title of the event at the top left of the page
Quick Access to Feature Settings
Event Calendar
The Calendar feature allows you to schedule upcoming Events, Breakout sessions, etc. Create a new event for the calendar from either button on the screen. You can learn more about creating a calendar event here.
Customize Channel / Default Experience
The layout chosen upon the Channel completion can be changed at any point, but more importantly, it can be fleshed out in this area.
- Settings: Change the Channel layout to see which works best for your event
- Features: Alter the live experience of your event with full customization options.
- Add Viewer Segment: this is an important step - you must add a Viewer Segment to designate which audience should see your layout. For more information on the use and creation of Viewer Segments, reference Viewer Settings.

The Channel Preview & Event States field allows you to see your event during various stages, present and future, simulating what an event will look like through the different event states: Pre, Live, Break, and Post
- There are different options available for display during the different event states

Channel Settings
- Information: Change Title, Description, etc, of Channel
- General: Establish default fonts, languages, & time format for Channel
- Chat Rooms: Enable and moderate Chat Rooms on your Channel that appear during an event
- Logos: Set the Channel image displayed when no videos are playing, as well as a Flavicon that appears on a browser tab
- Social: Setup Google Analytics & Social Media options
- Event Window: Set how long your event will run
- Stream: Control and monitor Assets actively streaming through the Sardius Stream application
Engagement
- Chat Moderation: Moderate chat rooms in the middle of an event
- Overlays: Create and trigger overlays on the player (if the user has the Role/Permissions added to their account to access this feature)
- Rooms: Control and Customize video "Breakout" rooms, which function like an in-event Zoom gathering.
Stats
- Channel Stats: View stats and analytics for the Channel
