# Viewers - Overview

**Video**

> **Transcript:** In this video, we will demonstrate how to manage Viewer Accounts. Viewer accounts may be needed in order to access a Sardius Channel that is using a layer of authentication. To access Viewers on your account, click on Viewers under the Experiences section in the sidebar. This will take you to a full list of Viewers that have been added to your account. On the main screen, you can use the filters to find a specific viewer. If you have multiple Viewer Segments, you can filter by selected segments. And you can filter according to a viewer's status. When a viewer is selected, you can see their full profile. Here you can manage their Name, Location information, and what Viewer Segments they are a part of. We can also change the viewer's password, which is handy for troubleshooting or viewer support situations. You can also create a magic link for the Viewer. Magic links can be shared with a viewer to instantly allow them access to a Sardius Channel, or it can also be used by you or your team to log in as that viewer to troubleshoot a situation they are seeing. Under Email History, we can see any emails that are sent to the viewer from the Sardius Channel. This is typically used for events that use Sardius Ticketing and Registration. Under Media History, we can see the Viewer's watch history on the channel during a specified period of time. This will include details about their session, or sessions, what videos they watched, where that viewer watched from, and a detailed Media Session history. Under Transaction History, we can see the Viewer's transaction history if they purchased a ticket or used a coupon via Sardius Registration. Finally, under Active Sessions, we can see all locations where that viewer is currently logged in. If you are restricting active sessions on your channel, you can revoke different sessions and force the Viewer to log back in. That's it! You can now manage Viewers in your Sardius Account. Thank you for watching, and we'll see you in the next video! Thank you for watching and we'll see you in the next video.

> **Tip:** _**Helpful Tip:**_ This information is visible only to those given specific roles/permissions. For event clients, please notify Sardius Media if specific people on your team may need permission to see this information.

The Sardius Control Panel allows you to filter and export Viewer Information for your Channel. From the Viewers section, you are able to review the Viewer’s:

- Profile Information- includes Account Information, Custom Registration fields (if using Sardius Registration) or external ID and Event ID information (if using a registration integration), Magic Link option, Account Status and Access info
- Email History- only relevant if using Sardius Registration system
- Media History- individual Viewer analytics that reveals What the user has watched, Where they have watched from, When they watched and How they have consumed content
- Transaction History-  only relevant if using Sardius Registration system
- Active sessions- shows how a Viewer is currently accessing a session (real-time info)

This is also the area where you can Create Magic Links for Viewers to give them direct access to a Channel or Event Watch Page or export a CSV of your Viewer information for your internal use.

> **Tip:** _**Helpful Tip:**_ The [**CSV export**](https://support.sardius.media/knowledge-base/csv-exports-for-viewers) may be useful if needing to import Viewer information into your CRM or email client to communicate with Viewers.
