System Configuration
To configure the Makito, you will need a computer that is on the same network and subnet as the Makito in order to access the Makito UI.
Using that computer, open a web browser. Type in 10.5.1.2 and press Enter. The Makito login screen should appear, or a Privacy error warning.
If your computer cannot see the Makito, you will have to change your computer's network settings to the following:
Connection: Manual / Static IP
IP Address: 10.5.1.10 (or an available address “near” the Makito)
Subnet: 255.255.0.0
Gateway: 10.5.0.1
Be sure to notate/screenshot your computer's original settings so that you will be able to change them back when this process is complete.
Log into the Makito with the following credientials:
- user: admin
- password: manager
Access the Makito's network settings. Change the IP Address, Subnet, and Gateway to whatever your Network Administrator / IT Department has approved.
Add at least one DNS entry.
Apply the changes and reboot the Makito. This reboot will take 2 minutes to complete.
If you changed your computer's network settings to what is shown in the box above, please change them back in order to restore the full network and internet capability of that computer.
After the 2-minute window, enter the new IP Address for the Makito in your browser window and the Makito's login screen will appear.
