Stream Templates
Our last release saw the introduction of the Sardius EMLA Encoder Device Manager. Today, we are excited to introduce the first expansion upon that release with our new Templates library! This brings an array of customization to your EMLA Encoder's configuration.
Need to send a specific Codec quality level to external RTMP destinations with Sardius Stream? We've got you covered! Are you using Entrypoint and want to add an additional lower bitrate to bring higher quality to low-bandwidth audiences? We can do that too. Or, do you want to set up a 4K stream using your 4K EMLA Encoder you just acquired? Let's do it!
Future updates to the Templates Library will include the ability to create custom templates for paired Elemental Live and paired Makito Encoders.
Device Management
Managing devices with more than one input is now easier than ever! When you load a device's details inside the Devices library and select the "Scheduled Events" tab, you can now see all events that device is scheduled to stream.
And if you want to locate a specific streaming configuration, you can also identify it in the separate "Channels" tab.
Other Improvements
There are many other quality of life updates "under the hood" to help our system run smoother, cleaner, and more effective. These updates also helped us streamline a few processes, and continue staging for some major updates coming later this year.
