EMLA Device Manager

Sardius is excited to announce the latest developments in our partnership with AWS Elemental MediaLive Anywhere (EMLA). Beginning today, clients can now pair their Sardius EMLA Encoder with the Sardius Platform. Paired Sardius EMLA encoders can now take full advantage of our automation services, including Sardius Stream and Sardius HLS Entrypoint.

Other Improvements

• Metadata and Asset updates - We've removed the ability to accidentally delete critical assets like the default channel stream assets that your channels require for live streaming. We've also tightened up Categories, Series, Albums and other Metadata groupings and how they handle related tags.
• Image gallery - Have you had trouble clicking through pages of images trying to find something specific? Now you can search by an image's Asset ID. The gallery also now supports multiple images attached to an asset.
• Chat moderation - The moderation window will continue to stay active following a live stream. This is handy for moderators who are moderating back-to-back events on a channel. 
• Role Group updates - Did you know that you can edit your player settings? Permissions for this can now be enabled for Custom Role Groups on your account to allow select users to customize your player colors, buttons, pre-roll ads, and more!
• Channel updates - Do you have a lot of channels for your account? We've made some adjustments to how channels are shown in the full channels list. You can easily switch from a card or list view, filter based on channel type (On Demand vs Stream Only). And you can add a custom 16x9 image to your channel to easily identify what it is for.

Other Updates

There are many other quality of life updates "under the hood" to help our system run smoother, cleaner, and more effective. Cleaner APIs, extra smoothness on toggles, easter eggs... it's the little things that make all the difference.
