Release 1.45
Released October 2, 2024
Brand New Knowledge Base!
In our ever-expanding efforts to service our clients better, we have updated our Support tools: a new phone system, better analytics for tracking client tickets, and a new location for our Knowledge Base!
The Support Tool in the bottom left of the Control Panel also looks a little different, while still giving you access to the Knowledge Base or assisting you with sending our Support Team an email.
You can access the new Knowledge Base with all of our articles and videos here.
Usage Analytics
How much storage does our account have? Do I have any transcoding minutes left?
While we've always offered a way to view the analytics of your account usage, that process has now gotten a bit more granular and significantly prettier!
On the left is the old view...
...while the right shows the updated layout.
Accessing the Usage on your account is still found in the same place: clicking the cog wheel to the right of your account name (in the top left of your screen) and selecting Usage.
Show All Assets in Simlive Scheduling
When setting an event up as SimLive/Advanced SimLive using an asset, the list of assets shown was limited. Now, users will see a full list of assets.
Even more user-friendly for accounts using our Advanced SimLive feature to stream to Social Media outlets, assets that are published as MP4 or MP4 enhanced will be marked with a "MP4" tag.
Other Updates
- Ending an Event Modal: If you are actively streaming but wish to end the event ahead of its scheduled stop time, there is an End Event button. In effort to prevent accidental end of a stream, a modal now appears once the End Event button is pressed to verify that this is the intention of the user.
- Top 20 Chat Contributors: Previously the Chat Contributors area populated all users that had engaged in chat the most recent chat session, and on occasion, with a large volume of chat users, the list would get bogged down and not display users properly. With this latest update, the top 20 engaged chat users are displayed
- UI Tweaks: Most of these may go unnoticed, but there are several places within the Sardius Control Panel where corrections to spacing have been implemented to give an overall cleaner and more concise feel to the user experience.
***If you have questions about any of these updates, or would like to request a demo of a feature, please reach out to your Sardius Account Manager.***
