# Recommended DNS Servers for Makito Encoders and Decoders

If you are having trouble pairing a Makito with the Sardius Control Panel, or having an issue streaming using a Makito Encoder or Decoder, and you are still able to access the device via its assigned IP address, then it is likely that the Makito is experiencing a DNS issue.
