General Settings
Place Types
To add a primary or secondary Place type, type the value into the appropriate field and press "Enter" on your keyboard. Some ideas for type values include:
- Primary: Premiere, Conference Room, Fellowship Hall
- Secondary: Live, Delayed
Broadcast Source
To add a broadcast source, such as Streaming or Satellite, enter a value into the Broadcast source name field and press "Enter" on your keyboard.
Broadcast Test
This section will show all broadcast tests that you scheduled, the date and time of the test, as well as their current status.
To add a broadcast test alert, click the "Add Broadcast Test" button. In the modal that appears, enter"
- Test title and description
- Primary and Secondary Type
- Date, Start time, and End time
- A Link for the broadcast test
- A timeframe for users to enter the results of the test
Info Pages
The info pages settings section will show a list of all pages for your places. These can provide to your users important information, resources, and contact information related to your streaming events.
The list below will show quick details of all pages you have created in your account. You also have the quick actions of edit, duplicate, publish and delete.
To create a new info page, click the blue "Create Info Page" button. A new page will appear. Enter:
- A name for the page
- Select a place type that this page can be visible for
- And enter content for the page in up to 2 columns. You can format the page content using a simple WYSIWYG editor, and you can add images and hyperlinks with details.
You can preview this page at any time, as well as save as a draft or publish.
User Notifications
In this section, you can edit the Welcome Email that is sent to new Places users. You can also enable/disable the email.
To edit the email, click the "Edit" button. A page overlay will appear, and you can easily add your Site Logo, and edit the email subject and content.
You can also send a test email, and save your changes at any time.
External Links
Here you can manage all external links to direct your users to specific locations. The list will show the title of the link, the place types it is available to, the URL for the link, and the ability to edit or delete.
To create a new link, click on the "Create External Link" button and enter:
- Link Title
- Primary and Secondary place types
- Link URL
When you are finished, select "Add link."
