My Account Page (Collection 2.0)

The My Account page settings allow logged-in users to manage their personal profile and activity. From here, they can view their Watch History, access Help content, and navigate to any Custom Rows you’ve added (such as links to your website or special modals).

Setting Specifics

  • Help Enabled:
Turns the Help section on or off. When enabled, a Help tab (such as FAQ) will appear inside the My Account page.

  • Help Title:
Sets the name of the Help section (default: FAQ). You can rename it to match your needs, such as Support or Help Center.

  • Help Content:
Lets you add or edit the Help information shown on the page. You can format the text or embed links using HTML.

  • Custom Rows:
Allows you to add additional buttons or links to the My Account page. Examples include linking to your organization’s website, opening a modal with extra info, or directing to an external resource.

By default, the My Account page shows the user’s name, profile circle, Watch History, and Logout option. Additional help and custom rows only appear if enabled and configured.

Custom Rows

A Custom Row is a flexible option you can add inside the My Account page. Unlike the built-in options (like Watch History or FAQ), a Custom Row is fully configurable—you choose what it does. Each one has a label (the text users see) and an action (link or modal). You can add multiple rows that point to different resources or features.

By default, there are no Custom Rows until you add them. There are two main ways a Custom Row can operate:

  1. External Link (URL):
When configured with a web address, the row becomes a clickable link that takes the user to an external site (such as your main website, donation page, or support portal)

  2. Modal:
Instead of opening a new page, the row can display a pop-up (modal) directly within the My Account page. This is useful for showing extra content like announcements, help text, or embedded forms without leaving the platform.

Custom Rows Breakdown:

External Link (URL) Option:
When you set a Custom Row to use a URL, it becomes a clickable link inside the My Account page. Instead of opening a pop-up (modal), it sends the user directly to the web address you provide.

  • How it works:
    • You give the row a label (e.g., “Visit Website,” “Donate,” or “Support”).

    • You enter a URL (such as https://sardius.media).

    • When users click the row, they are taken to that URL.

  • What it’s for:
    • Directing viewers to your main website.

    • Linking to a donation or giving page.

    • Providing a support or contact portal.

    • Sending users to event information or registration pages.

  • Behavior:
    • Typically, the link will open in a new browser tab so users don’t lose their place in the Collection layout.
    • If the URL is invalid or left blank, the row won’t function

Modal Option:
The Modal option lets you add a custom pop-up window inside the My Account page. Instead of linking to an outside page, this row opens a window (or “modal”) directly on top of the account screen. This is useful when you want to display extra information or actions without sending the user away from your platform.

Examples include:
    • Help or Support Info – Quick instructions, troubleshooting steps, or contact details.

    • Announcements – Highlight an upcoming event, product update, or special feature.

    • Policies or Agreements – Show terms of service, privacy policy, or disclaimers.

    • Forms or Feedback – Embed a short form for feedback, sign-ups, or surveys.

    • Extra Resources – Provide links, videos, or documents relevant to your users.

By default, the modal row is blank until you customize it with HTML or other content. Once added, it appears as a button in the My Account menu (as shown in your screenshot). When clicked, it opens the modal window with your configured content
