# Add an SRT Output

**Video**

> **Transcript:** In this video, we will demonstrate how to add a SRT Output. Before you create your output, make sure you obtain the following: the SRT destination URL, a playback URL if available, the encryption setting, a passphrase, and a stream ID if applicable. All Sardius SRT Outputs will be callers. Listener mode is not supported. When you are ready, click on Outputs on the sidebar. Next, select Add Output in the upper right corner. In the modal that appears, select SRT. Enter in the SRT destination address and port number. If you have a playback URL, enter that too. Select the encryption model. Enter the passphrase, and if you have a Stream ID, enter that as well. NOTE: AWS Elemental Live and Sardius EMLA encoders have the following requirements. SRT Destination must be an IP address ending with a port. An example is on the screen. The encryption level must be at least AES-128, and a passphrase with a minimum of 13 characters. If you do not meet these requirements, your Elemental and EMLA encoders will reject the SRT Output. With your information all now entered, click Next. Give your output a name, and a description if desired. If you wish to limit the output's connection to a single channel, make that selection here. Be aware that if you limit this output to a channel, you will only be able to use this output on that channel. Click Next when you're done, then review all of your settings. Click Add Connection to finish. That's it! Your SRT Output is ready for use. Thank you for watching, and we'll see you in the next video.
