# 4. Outputs

> **Transcript:** In this video we will cover outputs, the destinations where your live stream is delivered. Sardius offers five main output types. RTMP, generic and flexible for custom control to platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Rumble and more. SRT, secure and reliable for alternate destinations or broadcast feeds. Sardis always acts as the SRT Caller, so you'll need the address, port, passphrase and the optional stream ID for this to be successful. HLS, which supports Akamai and our custom DVR solution for connected platforms Facebook and YouTube. These dedicated outputs are tied to specific social media accounts. While you can use RTMP for Facebook or YouTube, the dedicated outputs unlock extra features such as scheduling events in advance on those platforms automatically starting and stopping the stream, and sending thumbnails, descriptions and other automated details to the event on those platforms.
