# 13. See How Your Content is Performing

**Video**

> **Transcript:** Welcome back to our onboarding video series. In this video, we're going to review how our content has been performing. There are three places where you can view these analytics and stats. The first of these locations is the Player analytics, which we can access from the sidebar under the Analytics section. The player analytics section contains a wealth of information. By default, it will show you all of the information from the last 24 hours, including total plays, unique devices, average watch time, a chart of all recent sessions, and a table of the most popular videos. You can change the timeframe represented in these sections by selecting from the time dropdown. You can also filter by video using the filter by video dropdown. Note that this dropdown is limited to the top 20 videos during your selected timeframe. If you want to see the performance of a video that's not in this list, we will show you how to do that later in this video. The central graph defaults to showing views according to the sessions initiated. In this example, we see the number of sessions on the Y axis and the times of day on the x axis. The Sessions Initiated mode is great for seeing an overview of when someone started watching. Average Active Media Sessions tab, however, is handy for reviewing player stats while in the moment to see when someone is still watching. The other reports you can see in this graph are device types, operating systems, browsers, countries, states, and cities. Below the graph is a table of the popular media titles during the selected window. Again, this is limited to the top 20 assets from that window. The second location to see analytics is directly on the individual assets. Here we can see an overview of the available metrics, such as a 12-month view history in the last 31 days available on this toggle switch. Next to this chart is a count of views for the last 31 days and all time. Below this section, there is a date picker that will populate the graphs in the remainder of the page. You can see the daily total plays, the most popular times of the day, locations where your asset was viewed, and the platforms and devices the asset was played on. The third location to see analytics is with each feed. If you have a feed that powers your podcast on multiple platforms, this could be a handy method to see how your podcast is performing across all these platforms. This interface looks similar to the asset stats section, but with a couple differences. First, we can see the average plays per asset, which shows the potential reach of the three most recent assets in the feed. You can also see the estimated number of viewers and the total numbers of requests. Below this section is a date picker and the graphs below are the same as what's available for assets. There is one additional chart called Trends, which will show the most popular assets that were played during the selected window. This chart is limited to the ten most popular assets during the selected time period. Congratulations. You can now see how your content is performing from player feed and asset levels. This also completes your introduction to the Sardius Control Panel. We've really just scratched the surface of what our system can do. We have a full series of additional videos which will give you close looks at our channel layouts, creating simlive processes, managing feeds, troubleshooting and so much more. We'll see you in the next video.

In this episode of our Onboarding Tutorials, you will learn how to track and measure how your content is performing. After watching this video, you will have an overview on how to access stats and analytics for players, assets, and feeds.
